Management Committee
Would you like to make an impact on the life of the Fulforth Centre? Come and join our committee and have your voice heard! The committee meets on the first Tuesday evening of the month.

Lunch Club Cook
We'd love to have more volunteers for our lunch club team. You could either help with food prep e.g. peeling potatoes on Mondays or Wednesdays or cooking the meals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Lunch Club Server
Come along on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes to help serve and clear away from our Lunch Club from 11.30 - 1pm. You'll either help take payments, dish up meals, serve tables and clear away.
Community Events Helper
If you can't commit to something weekly, but would still like to get involved, you could help out at one of our one-off events e.g. Christmas Extravaganza, helping serve at the Lunch Club Christmas meal, Party in the Park.
Toddler Group Helper
We're in the process of starting up a new Toddler Group at the centre on Wednesday mornings. We'd love helpers to facilitate the time, especially people happy to help with snacks, song and story time and crafts!
Meal Delivery Driver
We've recently started a meal deliveries scheme alongside Age UK Durham to deliver meals to those who can't make it to our Lunch Club. If you have your own car we'd love to hear from you!
Community Gardener
If you're green fingered and enjoy the outdoors, why not help to maintain and develop our community garden. It's really flexible - you can help out at a time which suits your schedule!
Befriender
We're hoping to start up a Befriending Scheme soon! And so we're looking for friendly, caring people who would like to befriend an elderly person living in Sacriston or the surrounding villages. Let us know if you think that could be you!
